Why put a motorcycle on a stand?
A motorcycle center-stand is intended primarily for maintenance work, not for routine parking of a bike. It allows you to get one (or both) of the wheels off the ground to enable chain maintenance or removing one or both of the wheels. By default (on most modern bikes) it is the rear wheel that is lifted.
How do you put a heavy bike on a center stand?
Make sure the front wheel and handlebars are centered, with the front wheel in alignment with the rear wheel. Push the stand down so that the left leg of the stand is touching the pavement, then stand the motorcycle up until both centerstand feet are touching the pavement.
Do all motorcycles have a center stand?
Reasons for omission
There are three main reasons manufacturers don’t provide centre stands as standard equipment on most modern motorcycles. The first is to make the bike appear cheaper. It’s a competitive industry and price is a huge bargaining tool.

***Any time a center stand is used we highly recommend that a center stand safety kit be used also. If a fill valve should leak air into your shocks or forks while sitting on the center stand your bike will lift up and fall over, with our safety kit in use the leak would simply evacuate into the atmosphere***

S.O.B. went above and beyond to build an electric center stand with attitude that is strong and sleek. Their actuator is C.E. approved and waterproof and fully adjustable. So no matter what size wheel you are running ,You can adjust the actuator so your legs set level. The feet are a delrin product built for durability and comes in 1/4” and 1/2” thicknesses. They come pre-wired and install in minutes. Fits models from 2000 to current year baggers…Road King ..Road Glide…Street Glide.. Electra glide…and Custom Baggers. You will need a rear air ride on your bike for this application. If your bike sits higher then 3 1/4” at its lowest point you may need to alter your crossover pipe. Typically takes 2-3 days to ship.
Available in gloss black, flat black, white, and raw to color match to your bike.
